Turmeric and spice tea: the detoxifying recipe
As we have seen in this article on how to use turmeric , to enjoy the detoxifying and antioxidant benefits of the active ingredient of this special spice, curcumin, some attention is needed, which are present in this recipe that I found here : in this spicy herbal tea , the mix of substances and its preparation are ideal to fully enjoy the benefits of turmeric. Here is the recipe I have chosen for you, ideal during the change of season:
TURMERIC AND SPICE HERBAL TEA
(recipe taken from Green Me )
250 ml of water
a teaspoon of turmeric powder
a pinch of cinnamon
a pinch of clove powder
(ps: cardamom seed powder is also good)
a pinch of walnut Muscat
a pinch of black pepper (mandatory)
2 tablespoons of coconut milk (not alpro drink, but Tibiona type coconut milk)
or almond milk (not almond drink): alternatively a tablespoon of
unsweetened cream for desserts or three spoons of whole cow’s milk (this addition is mandatory)
a teaspoon of honey (the sweetener is ok too)
Boil the water with the spices for ten minutes. When cold, add the coconut milk and honey.
