Famous manager manages to lose 25 pounds with this tactic

His name is Sol Orwell, and he’s the co-founder of one of the most popular wellness news sites, Examine.com: and while he’s now a handsome, handsome, muscular young man with 12% fat mass, Sol was once clinically obese, and in its worst form it came to close to the quintal. However, after losing his bet of being able to hike in the mountains, Sol decided to lose 25 kilos of weight by exercising and dieting.

But in order to never give up and continue with his good intentions, Sol has developed a small effective tactic to avoid going overboard. This tactic is very similar to Alan Aragon’s 80/20 rule, which I have talked about here.
In fact, one of the most depressing things about dieting is the idea of not being able to eat the foods we love most . That’s why Sol came up with this trick to be able to stay on a diet.

Every afternoon, he would go to the bakery and order one of the big biscuits , which he then reserved for after dinner. In this way (by ordering only a cookie), he had no temptation at home and rewarded himself for the result achieved with the diet that single day. And so on, until he managed to lose 25 pounds.
Obviously, diet and physical activity were essential for him.

This strategy, generally known as 80/20, is really effective for those on a low-calorie diet and does not want to get depressed or stray: it involves following a healthy diet for eighty percent of the time (which is also equivalent to eighty percent of the daily requirement) and for twenty percent (or less) choose a whim that we particularly like. If we allocate it to the end of the day, after dinner, it will be easier to feel rewarded and no longer feel the sacrifice of the day.
