Easy protein brioche
This protein brioche is similar to a brioche , to be made in a medium-sized donut mold (22 cm): dietary, it is low in fat. Perfect for breakfast, balanced between carbohydrates and proteins, it is a very simple dessert to make. Just mix the ingredients, wait for it to rise, pour the mixture into the mold and cook. A large portion (equal to one sixth of the protein brioche) is equivalent to 250 calories, 8.5 grams of fat, 30 grams of carbohydrates and 13.5 grams of protein.
Here is the recipe!
VERY EASY PROTEIN BRIOCHE
Ingredients for 6 large portions of protein brioche
150 g of flour
30 g of cornstarch
2 scoops of whey protein powder vanilla flavor or cookie
200 g of peach or pear cut into strips
2 level tablespoons of sugar + a level teaspoon of stevia
half a pack of brewer’s yeast (half a stick)
200 g of pasteurized egg whites
45 g of butter or 30 g of coconut oil
optional spices (cinnamon, clove powder, ginger powder)
Method:in a bowl mix the flour with the cornstarch, the vanilla protein powder and the sugar. Add the unmounted egg whites, melted butter and mix. Dissolve the yeast in half a glass of water (100 ml) previously heated (vegetable or skimmed milk is also fine: 5 more calories per serving) and pour it into the mixture. Cover the bowl with a clean cloth and let it rise for about an hour. Pour the mixture into a greased donut mold or covered with parchment paper. Keep it to rest for another twenty minutes in the mold, and in the meantime cut the selected fruit into very thin slices (in the case of the pear, sprinkle them with a few drops of lemon) and preheat the oven to 175 °. Arrange them in a radial pattern over the dough and put your protein brioche to cook. Cooking time: 40 minutes.
Let it cool with the oven halfway open.
Serve the cold protein brioche, sprinkled with Ceylon cinnamon and ginger powder.
