Lose 20 pounds with the SBS, South Beach Supercharged Diet
I have already talked about Dr. Arthur Agatston’s South Beach Diet in this article, and in what I am writing to you today we are talking about a special type of South Beach Diet, namely the South Beach Supercharged Diet , ideal for those who want to lose 20 pounds forever and not. only 5 or 6 as in the normal version. It is a phased program: from a first low carb phase to a balanced final phase.
In South Beach they eat 3 meals and two snacks a day , eating their fill. The diet is divided into 3 phases, the first of which lasts three weeks and allows for fast weight loss . It is combined with moderate physical activity which we will see later. The second phase allows you to lose the last few pounds, and lasts 4 weeks in total but can be continued for another 2-3 weeks.In this phase, some variations of the training plan are made to help the metabolism burn carbohydrates correctly such as whole grains, wholemeal bread, potatoes and fruit. The big difference between the original South Beach and the South Beach Supercharged is precisely in the training. Exercises are done that raise the metabolism and last a maximum of 15-20 minutes a day. Phase 3 is the maintenance phase, and gives indications on physical activity to be followed forever.
