 reducing calories has a consequence. We get full with increasing difficulty, and the brain acts to make us crave the foods we are trying to limit. Professor Levitsky explains: “The body has had millions of years to develop mechanisms that would protect us from famine. They cannot be circumvented simply by going on a diet ”. Professor at Cornell University’s School of Human Ecology, L evitsky explains that for some, losing weight often means finding the right, individual, personalized strategy. For example, skipping breakfast in the morning if you’re not too hungry, or simply learning to eat less and keep your weight under control with one weight per week, without resorting to a quick diet or a set plan. It doesn’t matter how many times you eat, it matters to have an approach that doesn’t make you feel on a diet, but allows you to limit yourself in the long term without stress.
