Here is the recipe for a dish that we can enjoy warm or hot, low-calorie but satisfying in taste. This pumpkin cream is ideal for those suffering from nervous hunger, cellulite, water retention, swollen bench press, but looking for a way to cut calories or a compensation meal.
Ingrediants
- – One kilo and two hundred grams of pumpkin cut into pieces and cleaned of the skin
- – one medium golden onion
- – a clove of garlic
- – 750 ml of vegetable, meat or chicken broth
- – 250 ml of water
- – 185 ml of skimmed milk (or unsweetened vegetable drink) or alternatively one and a half tablespoons of cooking cream or sour cream or 100 grams of whole Greek yogurt (not skimmed!).
- – tarragon or dried mint or sage
- – a pinch of turmeric and a pinch of pepper
- – salt as required
Instructions
- Boil the pumpkin with the chopped onion, garlic, spices, water and broth, lower the heat and cook until the vegetables are soft. Blend with an immersion blender and finally add the milk and herbs, or alternatively cream or yogurt. Season with salt and serve immediately.
