THE BEST DIET FOR LOSS AFTER THE HOLIDAYS

Breakfast.

  • Alternative A.
    Smoothie with 125 grams of blueberries, a small jar of low-fat white yogurt, a teaspoon of honey. Plus a cup of green tea.
  • Alternative B.
    150 grams of Greek yogurt 0% normal fat or soy, with 30 grams of muesli, cinnamon, stevia. A cup of green tea.
  • Or the C. Omelette of one egg plus an egg white stuffed with a level spoonful of jam. 3 walnuts. A cup of green tea.

tea should be drunk without sugar or with stevia . Same thing for herbal teas.

Lunch.

  • Alternative A.
    200 grams of cauliflower, broccoli or radicchio, stir-fried with a teaspoon of oil after having lightly boiled them. 100 grams of fresh salmon or the same weight of natural mackerel or a can of natural tuna. A herbal tea with fennel seeds.
  • The alternative B.
    125 grams of chicken strips sautéed with 250 grams of vegetables including leafy greens, tomatoes, peppers or mushrooms with a teaspoon of oil. As an alternative to chicken: 150 grams of shrimp or squid tails.
  • Or C.
    100 grams of boiled turkey cut into chunks, combined with green salad, 50 grams of avocado, 5-6 cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar. Alternatively the same salad accompanied by 100 grams of grilled veal or 75 grams of bresaola.

Dinner.

  • Alternative A.
    250 grams of sautéed vegetables with a teaspoon of oil, spices and herbs to taste.
    100 grams of white fish fillet of your choice, baked in foil. A digestive herbal tea.
    Or else B.
    A portion of light minestrone (without legumes or potatoes) or 300 grams of leafy vegetables of your choice (endive, chard, escarole, watercress, spinach, rocket) sautéed in a pan with a teaspoon of oil.
    20 grams of pistachios or almonds, a digestive herbal tea. 

    Snacks, two a day. 

  • A stick of celery with a teaspoon of almond or peanut butter.
  • 12 almonds and an extra dark chocolate cube plus a cup of green tea with stevia.
  • 50 grams of avocado with lemon juice and a pinch of salt.
  • Juice of a small apple, a carrot and fresh ginger.
