The diet for a flat stomach by prof. Sorrentino

Lose weight: what does it mean? Are we sure that the protruding belly and the accumulation of excess fluids are an effect of body fat and not a swelling, created by a state of intestinal inflammation? It is the thesis of the book “We are swollen, we are not fat” by Dr. Nicola Sorrentino, which I talked about in this article . Professor Sorrentino, dietician, explains in fact that often part of the overweight but above all the protruding belly are an effect of an inflammation created by an incorrect diet, which creates the fermentation of food and the proliferation of bad bacteria in the intestine.

In this article we see his diet for a flat stomach presented on TV: a deflating and purifying regimen, ideal for seasonal changes but not only. Ideal if we suspect that our current diet is creating a problem that we do not know how to solve.

As always, talk to your doctor before following a diet. In this case, however, we are not talking about a low-calorie diet: as you will see there are not some quantities of food. It is the choice of foods and their combination that makes the difference to deflate the belly, not the calories.

THE DIET FOR A FLAT BELLY BY PROF. NICOLA SORRENTINO

Before breakfast

A sachet of probiotics.
One chlorophyll tablet. Professor Sorrentino suggests this product which is called Detoxfilla.
We can also make a supplement at home (which is magnesium but also contains chlorophyll) by following this very easy home recipe : in this case, let’s drink a glass.

Breakfast

Coffee or tea with stevia. 125 grams of low-fat white yogurt that we can sweeten with stevia and eat with oat flakes (2 tablespoons).

Snack

10 almonds or 3 walnuts.

Lunch

A plate of rice (70 grams) with a teaspoon of oil and parmesan. As an alternative to rice, we can opt for corn pasta or quinoa (or polenta). This is to rule out any non-celiac gluten sensitivity disorders.

Snack. Like the snack.

Dinner

A serving of meat or fish (about 120-150 grams) with a side dish of zucchini cooked with a teaspoon of oil or carrots. For carrots, a small parenthesis of Dcomedieta: cooked if you suffer from frequent intestinal colic, raw if you have constipation problems.

After dinner

A serving of low-sugar fruit: kiwi, pineapple, clementine, strawberries or a cooked apple / pear for example. A herbal tea (for example with fennel seeds) without sugar.

This diet is designed to deflate in a few days, so with the suggested variations we can follow it for a week.
