5 RECIPES WITH VERY EASY AND FURBE ADVANCES
1. BREAD IN CASSETTE WITHOUT BEER’S YEAST
This sandwich bread features a mix of baking powder (not vanilla) and baking soda, and is made from yogurt. It is a white sandwich bread that we can make as an emergency, if we do not have brewer’s yeast at home and still want to make bread for sandwiches, toast and sandwiches.
Loaf bread recipe without brewer’s yeast
- 400 grams of flour 00 or 0 (if wholemeal put 350 grams)
- a spoon of sugar
- a level teaspoon of salt
- 480 grams of plain or soy yogurt (skim or whole) or 450 ml of milk with two tablespoons of vinegar (mix the vinegar and milk before making the recipe and set aside)
- a sachet of non-vanilla baking powder. If you don’t have baking powder, use this scheme.
- 70 grams of butter or olive oil
- 1 medium egg, beaten (optional)
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients. In a smaller one, mix the yogurt (or milk and vinegar) with the beaten egg. Pour the liquid mixture over the flour mixture. Stir with a wooden teaspoon to avoid lumps, finally add the melted butter or oil. Immediately in the oven in a greased plum cake pan for 60-65 minutes (do the toothpick test). It can be kept for 3-4 days at room temperature covered by a film.
You can also do it in a sweet version: in this case, just add a pinch of salt, 70 grams of sugar and raisins or chocolate chips. (Calories per 100 grams: 300).
