1200 CALORIES DIET: WHO IS IT SUITABLE FOR?
A similar diet is very low-calorie: it is suitable for those who have a total daily requirement of about 1600/1700 calories, or in general for moderately active women who are over 45/50 years old and for small women (1.60 / 1.65 cm maximum) not very active (i.e. doing sedentary work and not going to the gym). It can be continued for a month in these cases to lose about 4 kilos per month.
Subsequently it is always better to “disconnect” from the diet for a few days, returning to a normal calorie regime for about a week, and then resume. It is essential to take a multivitamin during the diet.
