101 ways to lose weight / THE DIET
I don’t know why there is this fashion of listing a hundred or one hundred and one things on all subjects.
Yesterday, after reading yet another American article explaining that there were bizarre ways to lose weight and realizing I already knew them, I said to myself, hey, why don’t you try to list 101 ways to lose weight?
I accepted the challenge with myself and here are 101 ways to lose weight according to three variants: DIET, ACTIVITIES, TRICKS TO LOSE weight. And all in one article. Before you continue reading I can assure you of one thing: I didn’t invent them. These are all things that dieticians and nutritionists recommend.
101 WAYS TO LOSE WEIGHT: THE DIET
- Choose a diet that is close to your habits and slightly low-calorie
- Eliminate unauthorized or unhealthy foods from your pantry
- Keep a food diary
- Don’t go on a crash diet
- Cut out the foods you enjoy the most with healthy alternatives
- Do not abuse sweeteners, light foods, industrial products
- Replace refined products with good quality whole grain products
- And sugar with natural sweeteners like stevia or erythrol
- If you want to lose weight right away, abuse exciting substances like tea and coffee (not recommended)
- But if you want to lose weight healthily, limit the stimulants
- Spice up your foods instead of salting or over-seasoning them
- Don’t cut all the fats out of your diet.
- And don’t cut all carbohydrates out of your diet if you want to lose weight healthily
- If you want to lose weight quickly cut carbohydrates or fats from your diet, but keep an eye on maintenance.
- Drink more water.
- Don’t skip meals to lose weight.
- Do not take purgatives
- Eat paying attention to the glycemic index of foods
- Chew every food for a long time
- Plan your meals in advance so that they are complete with everything
- Avoid going out to eat
- Eat more early in the day than dinner
- Â If a food makes you bloated, eliminate it
- If you are not convinced of your diet, go to the dietician
- Eliminates most of the reasons for stress, especially at the table
- Â Focus on your plate while you eat
- Balance your meals: carbohydrates, proteins and fats at every meal aside from fruit and vegetable snacks.
- Supplement your diet with vitamins and minerals if you don’t eat fruit and vegetables.

- Do not load yourself with water or liquids during meals
- Don’t do any unfair tricks, like making yourself vomit
- If you are about to give in to a temptation, such as a piece of cake, eat up to three bites of it
- Sour the water with a little lemon during the day, especially in the morning
- Fill up on vitamin C and antioxidants with a juice of red fruits such as blueberry or black currant (sugar free) in the doses of one glass per day.
