TOKYO 2020 OLYMPICS: URASAWA AND ARAKI INVOLVED IN PROMOTING THE EVENT

Mangakas Naoki Urasawa (Monster, 20th Century Boys) and Hirohiko Araki (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) prepare for the Tokyo Olympics.

Special initiatives continue to flock to promote the Tokyo Olympics , whose start is scheduled for July 24, 2020 . After the unofficial “ World Flags ” project, which transformed participating States into warriors and warriors in shining armor, it’s the turn of Naoki Urasawa ( Monster , 20th Century Boys ) and Hirohiko Araki ( JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure ). The two mangakas will in fact design the posters relating to the advertising campaign of the Olympics. Unfortunately, no images have yet been released, but it is likely that everything will be revealed in the coming months.

In the meantime, we remind you that Araki will be present at Lucca Comics & Games 2019 as a guest. During the fair, a new edition of the first narrative arc, Phantom Blood , and a box containing the author’s first works will be presented.
