Yesterday (August 30) Lenovo held its own conference at the IFA in Berlin. During the event, the Chinese company released a lot of information about its upcoming technology and gaming projects.
Among the first arguments proposed, Lenovo has introduced its vision of “smart house”, with a series of  Hi-Tech devices dedicated to home security and simplifying home life. In particular, three interesting devices were shown:
- Lenovo Smart Plug –  A small device that can be plugged into any outlet. This device allows the user to control any device to which the same Smart Plug is connected
- Lenovo Smart Camera:  a surveillance camera that allows you to monitor your home 24 hours a day (also thanks to the built-in infrared vision). This camera is also equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker which allows for two-way communication.
- Lenovo Smart Bulb:  A smart bulb that allows you to customize your home lighting (by adjusting the color temperature and brightness) through the Lenovo Link app .
These interesting products will be available in the US market from November, while they will arrive in other countries later. As for the cost of the various devices, this will also be specified later, probably at future conferences.
During the IFA was also presented the new range of Lenovo Yoga computers , which between innovation and high performance, will offer users a valid choice (especially for all those workers who need high performance and quality while working in constant motion).
Specifically, we can analyze the Yoga C930 model , which thanks to an eighth generation Intel processor, a speaker (equipped with Dolby Atoms Speaker System ), a system based on Windows 10 , and its 2 in 1 nature is defined as the model of tip among Lenovo laptops . In addition, this particular PC supports Dolby Vision HDR , allowing for crisp and brilliant viewing of images.
The C930 is also equipped with an integrated pen that recharges in its own compartment, and long-range microphones that allow you to interact with Alexa (installed in your computer) at a distance of up to 4 meters, even in Standby.
During the IFA the new  Yoga Book C930 was also presented , that is the first dual display laptop in the world equipped with  E Ink: a versatile screen that becomes a customizable dynamic keyboard with the support of multiple languages, a “digital paper” for notes and also an eReader , available by pressing a special button.
In addition , Lenovo also talked about  Yoga C630 WOS,  a device capable of combining the power and productivity of a laptop with the always connected mobility of a smartphone. Built specifically for on-the-go users, it offers built-in LTE  connectivity , and up to 25 hours of local video playback.
As for the availability of these devices, we have confirmation that Yoga C930 will be available in Italy from December 2018 at the price of € 1.499, while Yoga Book C930 will be released during January 2019 at around € 999. As for Yoga C630 WOS , the latter will be made available during the first quarter of 2019, a period in which the price of this device will also be announced.
Returning to the announcements of the conference, Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme was also shown , which will allow users to carry out the most demanding jobs, thanks to the Nvidia GeForce graphics card , the eighth generation Intel processors (with integrated Gigabit Wi-Fi ). In addition, this new ThinkPad will allow you to work in multitasking, and with RapidCharge technology it will be able to restore more than 80% of the battery in just 60 minutes.
In addition this device will have a 4K display (with support of Dolby Vision HDR  and Adobe RGB ). Speaking of security, this new Lenovo will boast a ThinkShutter webcam cover, Windows Hello facial recognition program , and a fingerprint reader. Finally, although the release date of the product has not yet been revealed, we know that the ThinkPad X1 Extreme will be available in Italy starting from € 1,709 (excluding VAT).
Speaking instead of the VR video game ” Star Wars: Jedi Challenges “, the Chinese house has announced the arrival of a new free expansion scheduled for this winter, and which will bring the dark side to the game through the inclusion of a new playable character ( Kylo Ren ), and with the release of a new controller that takes the form of the iconic lightsaber of Darth Vader ‘s grandson .
We conclude this article with a roundup of other devices presented during the Berlin event:
- Yoga S730:  An ultraportable, thin and high-performance laptop (offering up to 10 hours of battery life) and boasts compatibility with: Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos Speaker System and the latest 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor . It will be made available in Italy during the first quarter of 2019, while the release price will be announced in the same period as the release.
- Yoga Chromebook:  This new Chromebook brings together a 4K touch screen , 8th Gen Intel Core processor performance , SSD storage and DDR4 memory . It also has an autonomy of about 10 hours at the most. The price and availability for the Italian market will be communicated later.
- Lenovo  Chromebook C330:  offers the most up-to-date multimedia content in high definition, a 10-point IPS touch display for optimal viewing in Tent, Tablet, Stand or Laptop mode. Provides automatic updates to protect users from the latest malware, all with up to 10 hours of battery life. As for the price and availability, the latter will be communicated later.
- Lenovo  Chromebook S330:  Super-thin laptop, equipped with an anti-glare IPS display , for the best use of multimedia content and is designed to always be updated. Also for this device the price and availability for the Italian market will be communicated later.
- Lenovo  L27m Monitor:  A 27-inch Full HD monitor that can be connected to various devices. It reduces the number of cables to use while simultaneously enabling quick and easy data transfers. This device will be available in Italy from December and will have a starting price of € 179.
- Lenovo  Legion Y530 laptop (with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 upgrade):  a slim and elegant gaming laptop with eighth generation Intel Core processors whose high performance will be increased thanks to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPUs . It will be made available in Italy during the first quarter 2019 and the price will be communicated in conjunction with availability.
- Lenovo  Legion T730  and  C730 level up:  Both are enhanced with real-time Ray-Tracking in games, as well as the latest updates to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX â„¢ 2070, RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti GPUs . The first: Lenovo Legion T730 is a powerful computer, with a refined case equipped with a transparent side panel with a series of customizable lights. Instead Lenovo Legion C730 is a cube with overclocked components . They will be available in Italy during the first quarter of 2019, and also for these two computers the prices will be communicated to coincide with the availability.Â
- Lenovo Legion ™  15.6 ″ Recon Gaming Backpack:  Spacious and elegant and designed specifically for gamers, it offers optimal protection for your laptop and gaming accessories. This backpack is made of high density water repellent material and has a comfortable breathable padding.
