Easy cocoa protein ice cream without ice cream maker

I’ve just done it! This cocoa protein ice cream is very easy to make, contains around 100 calories for a serving of over 100g, has virtually no carbohydrates, but fiber and protein, and tastes very similar to real chocolate ice cream. Plus it’s super easy to do.
Here is my recipe.

EASY TO MAKE PROTEIN COCOA ICE CREAM, WITHOUT ICE CREAM

For two people (for 260 gr of ice cream)

A measuring spoon of vitafiber (a mixture of slightly sweet fibers, also ideal for making meringues instead of sugar)
1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa (10 g)
half a teaspoon of rice or corn starch or a teaspoon of xanthan gum

a scoop of  whey protein chocolate or neutral (in this case add the sweetener of your choice)
200 ml of water
frozen fruit: 4-5 chopped strawberries or a dozen cherries
flavored to taste (rum, vanilla)

  • Put the cocoa in a saucepan with the water, the scoop of protein powder, any sweetener if the proteins are neutral and the vitafiber.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly (it will veil like sauce or cream).
  • Then turn off, let it cool and put the mixture in the freezer for about an hour or two. Remove the mixture from the freezer, spoon it into a mixer together with the fruit you have chosen. Blend at maximum speed for a few minutes, so that the fruit is pureed.
  • Place the mixer bowl in the freezer (without the robot, just the bowl) for twenty minutes.
  • Remove it and blend again at maximum speed for about thirty seconds.
The result is a full-bodied and frothy ice cream. Spoon it over two bowls.
Protein is around 13-14 per serving. The calories? 100 per portion! <3
Don’t have the vitafiber or the proteins?
