Don’t lose weight? Here is the metabolic dysfunction diet

Are you on a diet but not losing weight?

Do you feel condemned to have those extra pounds and even though you have the impression of depriving yourself of food, not only do you not lose weight, but a normal meal is enough to make you gain a pound? The cause of your scale problems could be metabolic dysfunction, explains a doctor.

According to Dr. Caroline Cederquist, who specializes in bariatric surgery and author of a book entitled ” The MD Factor Diet “, there is a possibility that the first cause of your failure to lose weight is a metabolic dysfunction, a condition for which you tend to gain weight. A factor that we could call Syndrome X.

According to Cederquist, the problem of excess pounds is not simply a matter of a wrong diet and a sedentary lifestyle.

At that point remedying would be, I don’t say child’s play, but definitely easy. It would be enough to eat less and better and go for a run or to the gym to have solved the problem. Unfortunately, this is not the case: there are metabolic changes that prevent people from losing weight.
A problem often underestimated by doctors themselves, and which leads to the inability of the body to convert what we eat into energy that can be spent by the body.

With the logical consequence that instead of using calories as energy, we convert them into reserve fat and on the other hand we always feel tired and hungry.
Cederquist calls it the “ MD Factor ”. Let’s see what it is and how to fix it.
